Approaches to sustainable development aim to reconcile economic efficiency, social equity and preservation of the environment.

Since 2008, Sopra Group has launched a project to determine how sustainable development might be incorporated within its operations. This culminated in a dedicated structure and the appointment of a Sustainable Development Manager, who reports back to the Group’s Executive Management, is responsible for developing an approach to progress in this area, as well as a related action plan.

Sopra Group renewed its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact in 2008. With this commitment, the Group undertakes to comply with this document’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, protection of the environment and anticorruption. These principles are fully compatible with the values and fundamentals espoused by Sopra Group since its creation.
